My definition of a hero: A hero is someone that has the courage to do something that many people are afraid to do and what they do they don't want anything back because they do it so the world would be better at

Ulysses s. grant was born in 1822 when the civil war first started ulysses work in his fathers store in Illinois. he started as the cammander of the volunteer soldiers. then by September 1861 he was brigadier general of the volunteers. in febuary 1862 grant took control of fort henry and then they attacked fort donelson. after that the confederates surrendered and lincon promoted him to major general of volunteers. Ulysses S. Grant won many other battles with his skills on the field. And he was a hero in the civil war and he was are president too
What makes Ulysses S. Grant a hero is that he won many battles with skill bringing the union closer to wining the war and something that many people wouldn't like to do like fight in the war and in bloody wars. But Ulysses S. Grant stayed loyal to the union and its soldiers.
Ulysses S. Grant legacy was that he was a great general that helped to win the war and if he didn't exist then we wouldn't won the war but that didn't happen he was known because of his courage and because he did good things and wasn't afraid of anything.

An advice that I give to youth people is that they should try to be like Ulysses S. Grant because he was a man who had courage and wasn't afraid of fighting in the war so why don't we try to be like that to have courage and not be afraid of anything. After retiring from the Presidency, Grant became a partner in a financial firm, which went bankrupt. About that time he learned that he had cancer of the throat. He started writing his recollections to pay off his debts and provide for his family, racing against death to produce a memoir that ultimately earned nearly $450,000. Soon after completing the last page, in 1885, he died.

My definition of a hero: A hero is someone that has the courage to do something that many people are afraid to do and what they do they don't want anything back because they do it so the world would be better at least where he lives so that why I put lysses s. grant because he has the things of a hero.

This cartoon is trying to say that Obama is nothing and that Obama thinks he is what america needs but thats not true.
In this cartoon the picture that is shown is Obama.
I think that they use analogy because they`re comparing George W. Bush and Obama.
yes I agree because most of the presidents just care about the money
The first people who
came to Oregon they
came by ship,and before
the trail was even
stablished but there
was a problem

people couldn`t pay it
because it was quite
expensive and most of
them came from the
central states

The Oregon trail fallows
the plate river to its
headwaters and trough
the mountains and then
fallows the shake rivers that then
riches Columbia.
